Anna May Cutting Dough Hempzels has been working with  local bakeries for years. Images of Hempzel Soft Pretzels being prepared. A portion of dough is being cut after proper proofing to go into the extruders.

Hempzels use a special unbleached wheat & white flour mix along with hulled hemp seed, gluten free hemp flour &  hemp oil all 100% legal  and good for you. 

Hempzels coming hot out of the ovenBaked fresh. These golden goodies will be sorted and prepared for freezing. Hempzels™  are prepared without adding a salt topping so you can add your own toppings. They are prepared in 100lb batches and orders are taken & produced in bulk until retail packaging is completed.

After Hempzels are baked, they are sorted & cooled, preparing them  for flash freezing. These Hempzels are ready to go to the freezer.

Shipping has always been the issue over the years especially when they go further than the local Pennsylvania area. We ship by the pallet via truck frozen.

Preparation: Traditional Ovens Recommended - Thaw your frozen Hempzels, pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Moisten thawed Hempzels with butter or water and sprinkle with your favorite topping.  Prepare a pan, place thawed hempzels on pan in oven. Bake for 3-4 minutes or until center warmed. Serve then clean up!

Microwave - Moisten and add your favorite toppings.  Wrap 1 pretzel in paper towel microwave on high for 30-60 seconds.   

Additional Idea's  Tell us your favorite way of enjoying a Hempzel . Salt to your taste, when trying cinnamon & sugar, put topping on after heating. Garlic & parmesan is a favorite served as a gourmet bread stix with your  pasta dishes.   Our favorite - slice a Hempzel stix down the middle, flatten, cover in your favorite pizza sauce & cheese - heat and eat. French bread enthusiast might call this chanvrepizza!
