  10. Do you have educational materials? - Yes

  11. Can you private label products for my business? - Presently no but the door isn't closed.

  12. Isn't hemp marijuana? - No, it's Cannabis Sativa, 1 of 700 species not grown for it's medicinal properties. Grapefruit are not lemons or oranges but they are in the citrus family. Donkeys are not palominos or quarter horses but they are equines. Marijuana is a racist, slang term invented during the "yellow journalism" era of Randolph Hearst publishing.

  13. What can't you do with this product? - hemp cannot produce steel or glass

  14. How do I get your soft pretzel stix? - We have them baked in bulk bags - 24 stix per bag - order online but remember we need to ship them to you fast & shipping is not calculated into our pricing. We are working on this.

What part of the plant do you use to make Hempzels™? - The seed, crushed into flour, separated for oil and the seed de-hulled.

Why do you refer & compare hemp seed to flax or soy nuts? - Because more consumers are used to incorporating some part of flax or soy into their diet. Hemp has a wonderful balance compared to all seed crops for it's Essential Fatty Acid Profile. It may not have the most Omega 3 but it taste better than flax and has the 3.7 to 1 ratio for optimal use by the human body for Omega 3 & Omega 6's. The protein is more digestible than soy as an edistin protein also.

Will eating your pretzels, mustard, baklava, seed produce a proof positive on a drug test? - Not at all unless you are in denial for your own use of plants & pharmaceuticals. We use 100% clean commercial industrial hemp seed with less than 10ppm of THC. There is more alcohol in fruit juice & opiates on a poppy seed bagel than any Hempzels™ product. We adhere to the Test Pledge Standards for the Industry - visit. www.testpledge.com/companies.htm

Do you use wheat in your products?    Presently the full line of Hempzels™ Pretzels & Vegan Baklava use wheat, we are working on a spelt & hemp pretzel - keep visiting the website to find out more. The Horseradish Hemp & Honey Mustard is wheat, dairy & gluten free. The Organic Whole Toasted Seed is your best bet to enjoy a great taste & get those EFA's, Protein, Vitamins & Minerals.

I have Celiac issues (gluten intolerance)  what products of yours can I eat without having a reaction? - Hempzels™ Mustard & Organic Whole Hemp Seed Toasted With Sea Salt - all of the pretzels we produce still use wheat as does our Vegan Baklava.

What makes your Sourdough Hempzel Pretzels different from typical pretzels? - There are not many Sourdough pretzels made the old fashioned one at a time. You can't replicate it with machine and the big circular stone oven & kiln drying give this a unique flavor. Now adding the hemp seed, flour & oil add another dimension to typical white enriched flour used in today's pretzels.

What makes your Peanut Butter Hemp Pretzel Nuggets Different? - We don't use high fructose corn syrup in this product or any Hempzels™ product. There is no yeast since the shell doesn't have to rise. We use hemp seed, hemp flour & hemp oil in the shell & peanut butter.

What makes your Baklava different than traditional Baklava? - The phillo dough is free of hydrogenated vegetable oil, we use an Earth Balance Soy Spread® vs. butter. The second ingredient is hemp seed eliminating chunky walnuts & providing 3.5gms of Omega 3 per square along with Vitamin E & A. All from the seed. - This is the case of taking a 100 year old family recipe & "hempzelizing" it..

What makes your Mustard different than traditional mustards on the market? - It's hand crafted, whole grain & the addition of hemp seed provides the 2gms of protein & 311mgs of Omega 3 per serving. We've had nothing but rave reviews - even from folks that don't care for mustard. Slap this on sandwiches, use in recipes - put in tarter sauce or as we like put them on your Hempzel Pretzels (maybe not the Peanut Butter ones -)

How Can I Get Your Products? - We encourage you to ask for Hempzel™ Pretzels, Mustard, Baklava & Seed at your local health store or grocer. But you can also securely on line, sign in & shop 24/7.

Do you accept credit cards? - Yes through the PayPal Gateway which is our secure form of processing your credit card.

Will you ship to another address so I can give Hempzels™ to a family member or friend? - Yes, when you have securely signed in just change your ship to address & email us with any other specifics - we'll do our best to make it happen.

Do you have a retail store? - No we don't, we just produce great products & will ship direct or direct you to a local store in your area.

What events do you set up at so I can see your products? - All events can be seen here

Can I get a sample of your product? - Send $5.00 to cover shipping & we'll send you samples. As a small company our samples go to the stores so consumers can try before they buy.

I work at a local health food store, how can I get more information about your product? - Sign in & put your store as the ship to with it's contact information. We'll be happy to send out literature & current wholesale pricing.

Why is hemp not grown in the United States anymore? - The advancement in petroleum based & chemicals that were to make things cheaper drove the agricultural business in another direction. Politics & the insistence on the few to tell the many that marijuana is hemp & not medicine has perpetuated a continued ignorance on the subject - Almost all nations grow commercial industrial hemp & the US still imports it. Hemp is listed twice as a strategic commodity by Executive decree by President Clinton.

What can I do to help revive this agri-business? - Contact your local elected representative to inform him about HR3037 that needs Congressional support. All politicians need to say "know" before they so "no" or I don't know.
