COMPANY & HEMP HISTORY  --

Folks I hope this helps you to  understand a little bit more about a crop that hasn't been taught in our public school. This time line has been developed and spans from early history to the present. It does not contain every fact & does stress the Hempzels history from the late 1990's until now. This time line will continue to be updated & eventually formatted so you can print it out easily - be patient. You can see for yourself what this amazing plant has gone through and how politics corrupted our understanding growing up and reduced our civil liberties. The real confusion started in the early 1930's with the Federal Government referring  to cannabis sativa in racial,  derogatory slang terms "marijuana". Prior to that the Federal Government & USDA had hemp listed in the farm yearbooks as any other needed crop. Cannabis was medicine or recreation & hemp was industrial and the hearty crop that produced fiber, seed & oil for a growing free nation. So start saying "know" right now & verify this information for yourself. - Contact your local congressional representative to support HR1866  "Industrial Farming Act of 2009"....Thank You!HR1886 Industrial Hemp Farming Act 2009  - It's Stalled in Judiciary & Energy / Commerce Committees - Call Your Reps today!

I hope this helps you the consumer understand what value this crop actually has. - There are many people to thank.  Jack Herer is the main person who did a lifetime of research (author - Emperor Wears No Clothes) , Donny Wirtshafter creator of the Ohio Hempery, Richard Rose the Original "HEMP NUT" - Historian John Dvorack Hempology.com under from Massachuesetts with many others too numerous to mention at the moment.. Locally in Pennsylvania Les Stark & his brother Jim of Hempstone Heritage have been the local finders of fact about hemp in Lancaster County and the surrounding Commonwealth. When we fight over fossil fuels let's put ignorance & politics aside & embrace the opportunity for positive change for our farmers & the children of the world.

Enjoy & drop me a line if there is something missing. Cheers - SPH
